2014: AJ Lightbody appeared in 20 games during her junior season at Wingate, starting 19 contests…Notched a goal and two assists on the season…Helped the Bulldogs lead the league, allowing only 12 goals, including just three goals in conference matches…Lightbody scored a goal in Wingate’s 3-2 loss at NCAA Division I Stetson…Notched two assists in 6-0 victory at Brevard.

2012: DNP

2011: Finished third on the team with eight goals during her freshman season...Had three assists, finishing fourth on the Bulldogs with 19 points...Scored a goal in each of her first two collegiate games...Scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lead the Bulldogs past #24 Armstrong Atlantic...Had a goal and an assist in the 5-0 victory against Tusculum...Netted the game-winner at Catawba, while scoring a pair of goals against Lincoln Memorial...Scored in Wingate’s 4-2 win over Lenoir-Rhyne in the SAC Tournament championship game.

Personal: AJ Lightbody played high school soccer at David W. Butler High School. During her senior year, she was Butler’s team MVP, scoring 14 goals. In addition, she earned all-conference and all-region honors. Lightbody played her club soccer at the Mecklenburg Union Futbol Club for Wingate graduate Junior Nyemb.
