2007-08: David Johnson appeared in 22 games for the Bulldogs, averaging 3.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. Johnson had 14 points, four rebounds and three blocks, while going five-of-six from the field in Wingate’s victory over Newberry in the SAC Tournament. He followed that performance by racking up 18 points, five rebounds and three steals against Mars Hill.

2006-07: David Johnson played in 5 games for the Bulldogs during the 2006-07 campaign. Johnson nailed a 3-point trey for Wingate during a Christmas tournament. Johnson averaged 1.8 points per game and 0.8 rebounds throughout the season.
