Biography
Mike Tyson joins the Bulldog family from Kinston High School, where he was a two-year letter-winner for coach Wells Gulledge. The future Business major led his team with 14.7 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game as a senior, earning Kinston Free Press Player of the Year honors. The son of Earl Tyson, Jr. and Nadine Cobb, Tyson was a member of the 2010 Kinston High squad that won the NCHSAA 3A state championship.
