2019-20 (JUNIOR)

  • Named the SAC Defensive Player of the Year as a junior
  • Earned second team All-SAC honors
  • Led the SAC and ranked third in the nation with 104 blocked shots
  • Led the conference and ranked third nationally with 3.47 blocks per contest
  • Fourth player in league history with over 100 blocked shots in a season
  • Started all 30 games, averaging 10.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game
  • Ranked fourth in the SAC in rebounding
  • Scored in double figures 19 times, notching nine double-doubles and a triple-double

  • Scored a career-high nine points with four rebounds in the victory at Mars Hill

PRIOR TO WINGATE
Tallying up multiple letters as a track and basketball standout, Jeter brings a wealth of athleticism to the Bulldog program. She was named the Legacy Charter basketball MVP her senior season for head coach LaCheryl Smith. She averaged 10.2 points, eight rebounds and three steals from the post position. In her senior season, Jeter led the Lions to the USA Prep semi-final national championship game. Jeter was awarded the Legacy Charter female Athlete of the Year Award as well.
 
Prior to her stint at Legacy Charter, Jeter played three basketball seasons at Eastside High School. She had the opportunity to compete as an eighth grader. During her time at Eastside, Jeter placed in the state track and field meet as a high jump competitor.
 
Jeter played AAU basketball for the Carolina Lady Shock, a team also coached by Smith. Jeter successfully maintained a 4.00 GPA and will graduate from Legacy Charter with 18 college credit hours. Teliyah is the daughter of Keith and Samantha Brown. She has five siblings: Tyler Brown, Tiara Thomas, Tagarian Jeter, Tamia Jeter and Gary Jeter, Jr.
