2011-12: Clifford Blanquicet recorded a stroke average of 73.0 in 10 events (through 4/17/12). He shot a 221 to finish third at the Food Lion SAC event. An All-SAC second team pick, Blanquicet notched four top-five finishes, while compiling nine rounds of par or better on the season. His third-place finish at the Will Wilson/Tanglewood Intercollegiate was highlighted with an opening-round 68. He won the individual title at the Wingate Pinehurst Challenge, shooting rounds of 72 and 76. Blanquicet fired rounds of 67 and 70 at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate, finishing in a tie for first with teammate Brian Denton, who would go on to win in a play-off.

2010-11: In April, Blanquicet finished second in the 2011 Food Lion SAC men’s golf tournament, held at the 6,903 yard, par 72 Rock Barn Golf Club and Spa. In the SAC event, Blanquicet’s 221 put him two strokes out of the medalist position. He shot 70-75-76 in the 54-hole tourney. For the season, he posted a 73.5 strokes per round average. His best round was a 69 in Wingate’s J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate (3/29/11).
