Biography
2008-09: Edward Winters competed in two events during the year. He posted seasonal bests at the Honda of Columbia Fall Classic, shooting 75-74 and finishing in a tie for 11th for the Bulldogs.
2007-08: Winters appeared in one event during his sophomore year with the Bulldogs. He played in the Chick-Fil-A Intercollegiate in March, shooting rounds of 81 and 85 for a season stroke average of 83.0
2006-07: Winters participated in the Hargett Memorial his freshman season, posting an 85-86=171 during Wingate’s home event.
High School: Winters went to Warren Hills Regional High School in N.J. Winters won three letters in golf and one in Cross Country. In golf, he was named captain his senior year. Winters earned many honors, including All-Conference his junior and senior year. He was All-Area and All-County his junior and senior year. Winters led his team to four straight conference championships with an average match score of 37.1 (nine holes).
