2015: Pombo played in the Hargett Memorial Invitational…in Wingate’s home event, he tied for 16th after three rounds by posting scores of 81-73-68 for a 222 total…Pombo’s third-round 68 was Wingate’s best score of the final round…
 
2014: Pombo played in eight events (19 rounds) for the Bulldogs as a sophomore…his 79.1 strokes per round average was fifth on the team (among players who played 19+ rounds)…Fourteen of his 19 rounds were in the 70s, with a season-best 73 in the second round of UNC Pembroke’s Campbell Oil/Sunoco Classic…Pombo tied for ninth in the UNCP event with a 54-hole total of 224 (76-73-75)…he posted one top-10 showing and two top-20 finishes…Pombo tied for 15th at the Rock Barn Intercollegiate with a 151 (76-75)…
 
2013: Pombo participated in five events (10 rounds) during his freshman campaign…he posted a 78.9 strokes per round average with seven of his 10 rounds in the 70s…Pombo tied for 24th place at Catawba’s Richard Rendleman Invitational with a 149 (73-76)…The 73 was his top round of the season…Pombo had a 74 in the second round of the LMU State Farm Invitational during the 2012 fall season…

Amateur: Pombo participated in the 2010 Nick Faldo Final Series in Northern Ireland at the Lough Erne golf course…champion of the Brazilian under ages 11 (2005), 13 (2007), 15 (2009) and 18 (2012)…participated on four South American Championships as a member of the Brazilian national team: two times under 15 years old and two other times under 18 years old…he represented Brazil individually three other times, two of them participating on the Junior World Championship by Callaway and one time in Colombia…Pombo also qualified for the Brazilian national team for a doubles tournament held in Peru…
 
High School: Pombo played on the Redmond (Wash.) High School golf team in 2010…he represented the team in all of the tournaments…the RHS team was champion of the region during Pombo’s only season…
