Biography
2005-06: Shane Dyer was one of the top freshmen in the SAC during his first Bulldog campaign. He had nine rounds in the 70s, including a season-low 73 at the Charlotte Shootout at Rocky River (Oct. 18). Dyer tied for 33 rd in the ultra-competitive Johnny Palmer/Old North State Invitational (Sept. 19-20) with a 229 (78-77-74). Dyer is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and a Dean’s List student. On the season, Dyer averaged 77.17.
High School: Dyer was a two-sport star Watertown High School in Watertown, N.Y. He was a three-year captain of the golf team. In addition, he was a three-time team MVP in golf. Dyer led his team in scoring average and matches won. Dyer was a two-time sectional champion. Born April 24, 1987, Shane is the son of Peter and Megan Dyer. He is majoring in Business.
