2011: Adam Jones was elected as a team captain for his senior season. Will once again be tasked with slowing down the opposition’s best midfielder. His ability to handle the ball will help start the Bulldog’s transition game. Has appeared in 43 career games, second best on this year’s team. Will be a strong candidate for post-season accolades. Joined this year by younger brother, Freshman Sam Jones.

2010: Appeared in all 16 games as the #1 long stick middie. Scored first career goal vs. Wheeling Jesuit. Recorded a career best 33 ground balls for the season.

2009: Played in all 16 games, making 1 start. Had a career best 19 ground balls for the season. Set a personal best with 5 ground balls vs. Rollins.

2008: Played in 13 games as a freshman. Scooped 6 ground balls.

High School: Played at SE Guilford High School for Coach Mark Goldsmith. Named all-county as a senior. Was twice earned team defensive MVP. High school teammate of fellow Bulldog Dave Robinette.

Personal: Philip Adam Jones…born December 14, 1988…son of Jori and Philip Jones.
