Biography
2014: Watts was named honorable mention All-SAC following his junior campaign. He had 13 goals and 12 assists. Watts tallied a career-high five goals against SAC foe Mars Hill. Watts had three goals and one assist in a SAC victory at Brevard. He dished out four assists against Queens. Watts was an integral part of Wingate’s man-up offense.
2013: Watts had five starts in 14 appearances his sophomore year. He scored four goals and dished out seven assists. His 11 points were eighth on the Wingate team charts. Watts had one goal and two assists in a neutral site victory over Lees-McRae (Feb. 16).
2012: Watts saw action in 12 games for the Bulldogs. He posted two goals and collected six ground balls.
High School: Chase Watts played at Mount Tabor High School for head coach Tom Perrault. He was named all-conference, all-county and all-state as a senior. A two-time team MTHS team MVP, Chase Watts is the younger brother of Bulldog lacrosse alumni Evan Watts and Derek Watts.
