Biography
2012: Michael Acosta saw time in 13 of Wingate’s 14 games during the 2012 season. He had 33 ground balls, sixth on the Bulldog team charts.
2011: Acosta played in all 15 games as the Bulldogs' number two long stick middie. He scooped his first career ground ball in the season opener agaist Florida Southern. Acosta had a total of six ground balls on the season.
2010: Acosta appeared in one game as a freshman.
High School: Acosta was named Best Midfielder his senior year at Hillcrest High School under the tutelage of head coach Rob Searfoss. Acosta joins high school teammate Stuart Lockhart as a member of the Bulldogs.
