PRIOR TO WINGATE

Averaging a double-double every year of her career, Dyson was extremely instrumental in the success of the Lincolnton Wolves under head coach Jimmy Carr. Serving as both her team's captain and MVP for two consecutive seasons, she went on to eclipse the 1,000-point mark and netted a single game career-high 39 points. Dyson's impressive numbers led her to all-conference and all-district honors four straight seasons while clinching a 2A Conference Championship her senior year. She was also a four-year member and two-time all-conference player on the volleyball team. Following graduation, Dyson began her collegiate career at Gardner-Webb University where they knocked off SEC opponent the Florida Gators her freshman year.
