2014: Charlie Machell was named the 2014 SAC Player of the Year, while also earning first team All-SAC and All-Region honors…Was named an NSCAA third team All-American…Started all 20 matches as a sophomore, collecting 12 goals and four assists…Led the SAC in goals and points…Notched his first career hat trick in Wingate’s 4-1 win over Emmanuel in the home opener…Had a goal and an assist in the 2-0 win at UNC Pembroke…Had a goal in the 4-0 win at Catawba, while handing out a pair of assists in the 3-0 victory against Tusculum…Scored the overtime game-winner against Carson-Newman…Collected a hat trick in the 4-0 victory at Queens…Had a goal in the 3-0 win against LMU, while notching a goal and an assist against Coker in the SAC Tournament.

2013: Machell appeared in all 17 matches during his first year at Wingate, starting 10 contests...Registered five goals and two assists on the season...Scored two goals including the game-winner in 4-1 victory against #24 UNC Pembroke...Scored twice in 4-2 win at Coker...Had two assists in 3-0 victory against Brevard...Netted a goal in 2-0 win against #11 Queens.
