Biography

2017: Nate Evans appeared in 20 games during his junior season, making 16 starts...Had a goal and an assist, playing 819 minutes while registering 22 shots including eight shots on goal...Had a huge match in the SAC Tournament semifinals, collecting a goal and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to the SAC title match, where Wingate would go on to collect its second tournament championship in three years. 

2016: Nate Evans appeared in all 20 games during his sophomore season, making seven starts…Had two goals and two assists, with both goals being game-winners…Had an assist in the 3-0 victory against Mars Hill…Scored the game-winner in the 3-1 victory at Anderson…Netted the overtime game-winner as the ‘Dogs prevailed 2-1 over Carson-Newman…Notched an assist on the lone goal in the victory at Carson-Newman to clinch the SAC title…Started each of the last four NCAA Tournament contests.

2015: Evans appeared in 18 games during his first season at Wingate, playing 465 on the season…Took 12 shots on the season, including four shots on goal…Took a career-high four shots in the NCAA Tournament contest against top-ranked and eventual national champion Pfeiffer, including a pair of shots on goal.
