Biography
2009-10: Following up a solid freshman year is tough to do, but Ben Murphy did so excellently, as he continued to be one of the Bulldogs top distance butterfly and freestylers. His top finishes on the year came in a couple of dual meets, a second place finish in his 500 freestlye against Pfieffer and a second place finish in his 200 butterfly against Limestone.
2008-09: Ben Murphy’s freshman year was a solid one, as he was one of the Bulldogs top distance swimmers in freestyle and butterfly. Murphy’s top finishes include a second place finish in the 1000 Freestyle and a win in his 200 butterfly, both against King College.
HIGH SCHOOL: Murphy was a four-year letterman at C.E. Jordan High School under swimming coach Brian McDonald. Murphy plans to major in Biology. He is the son of Lee and Beth Murphy.
