Biography

2015-16: Camden Wunderlich participated in 10 different individual events as a first-year Bulldog. He was All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference in the 1000 Freestyle with his personal-best time of 9:25.99. In addition to his 1000 Freestyle swim, Wunderlich established career-lows in the 500 Freestyle (4:30.80) and the 400 Individual Medley at the 18th annual BMC event. In his inaugural Fall Frenzy, he notched personal-bests in the 100 Backstroke (54.19), the 200 Butterfly (1:57.12) and the 200 Freestyle (1:44.37). Wunderlich also swam the 50 Backstroke, the 50 Freestyle, the 200 IM and the 1650 Freestyle during his freshman campaign. He posted a 16:01.67 time in the 1650 Freestyle at the 2016 Royal Open.

Prior to Wingate: Camden Wunderlich attended Clacier Peak High School where he earned two varsity swimming letters for head coach Rob Serviss. In the Washington Boys’ 3A State championship, he took home a first-place title in the 500 Freestyle (4:35.90). Also, Wunderlich claimed a silver medal in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 1:54.45. He holds multiple school records in the 100, 200 and 500 Freestyles, the 100 Backstroke and the 200 Individual Medley. Wunderlich was involved in Spanish Honor Society. He was elected a Washington State Scholar. He is the son of Tom and Kayla Wunderlich. His sister Autumn swims at Davis and Elkins (W.Va.), while his father swam for Old Dominion University.
