Biography
2011-12: Cole Dutton has earned conference championships in the 1000 and the 1650 Freestyle events during his career. He has also earned honorable mention All-American honors and scored points for the Bulldogs in the national meet. Cole has eight all-conference swims in his career. Wingate has three BMC titles in his career.
2010-11: In his sophomore year, Dutton was an All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference selection in all three events (500, 1000 and 1650 Freestyle). He earned an honorable mention All-American in the 1000 Freestyle. Dutton posted the third-fastest time in school history for the 500, 1000 and 1650 Freestyle events.
2009-10: In his first year competing for the Bulldogs, Dutton earned All-BMC honors in three events, while winning both the 1000 and 1650 Freestyle races at the BMC championship meet. Dutton earned a place on the National squad and competed in his first NCAA Division II Swimming Championships in both of these races, placing 21st in the 1000 and 14th in the mile.
High School: Cole Dutton won a total of 14 letters at St. James High School in three sports. He was the captain of the swim team for three years as well as being the captain of the track team captain his senior year. Dutton was an All-region swimmer from seventh grade until his senior year and All-County in track his freshman through senior years.
