Biography
2008-09: Daniel De Francisco was a four time All-American last year and was a vital component in every relay swum at the 2009 NCAA Championships. Daniel had five best times throughout the season including three when they mattered most at the conference championships and the NCAA championships.
2007-08: De De Francisco earned All-American honors in the 200 Freestyle Relay during the 2007-08 swimming season. De Francisco was a conference champion in the 800 Freestyle Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay. De Francisco teamed with Corcoran, Chagas and Norman to win the conference 400 Freestyle Relay championship.
2006-07: De Francisco was a member of the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay teams that gained all-conference laurels. The 800 free relay team won the conference championship and set a school record.
HIGH SCHOOL: De Francisco was a member of the swimming and water polo teams at Naperville Central High School in Illinois. In 2005, DeFrancisco was the Colombian national champion in the 200 IM. Daniel is the son of Ramiro and Sonia De Francisco .
