Biography
2010-11: In his junior year, Palmiotto was an All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference selection in the 200 Backstroke, the 200 and 400 Medley Relays and the 400 Freestyle Relay. He recorded the third-fastest time in school history in the 200 Butterfly and the fifth-fastest clocking in the 200 Individual Medley.
2009-10: Palmiotto played a big role in Wingate’s BMC championship. He also posted an NCAA “B” cut. A versatile weapon for the Bulldogs, Palmiotto competed in Backstroke, Butterfly, Individual Medley and Freestyle throughout the season.
2008-09: Palmiotto’s versatility was extremely important for the men as the Bulldogs won another conference title. Palmiotto swam both Backstroke events, Freestyle and the Individual Medley at the BMC championships. He was an NCAA ‘B’ cut qualifier.
HIGH SCHOOL: Palmiotto swam for Brookfield High School in Brookfield, Connecticut. He was an honor roll student in high school. Palmiotto owns the Ridgefield Aquatic Club’s records for the 100 and 200 backstroke.
