Biography
2019-20 (JUNIOR)
- Earned first team All-American laurels in the 200 Backstroke at NCAAs in Ohio
- Received CSCAA Scholar All-American honors for his achievements in the classroom and the pool
- Posted four personal-best times during his junior season with two at the Royal Open: 100 Backstroke (49.19) and 200 Backstroke (1:47.06)
- Swam a personal-best 50 Freestyle (22.43) in the Catawba/Lenoir-Rhyne double dual
- Recorded a personal-best 100 Butterfly (52.64) in the Spartan Invitational
- Received CSCAA Scholar All-American honors for his achievements in the classroom and the pool
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)
- Received All-Conference honors in the 100-yard backstroke (fifth, 49.91) and 200-yard backstroke (fourth, 1:48.50)
- Also swam the 200-yard individual medley (15th, 1:53.25)
2017-18 (FRESHMAN)
- Qualified for the NCAA national championship meet as a first-year Bulldog
- Swam in the 200 Backstroke at NCAAs in Greensboro, posting a time of 1:52.39
- At the Bluegrass Mountain Conference meet, swam in two championship finals: 100 Backstroke (eighth, 50.46) and 200 Backstroke (1:52.61)
- Recorded a time of 1:51.73 in the BMC 200 Individual Medley, winning the bonus final
- Three top-three performances in the Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational: 400 Medley Relay (second, 3:23.95), 200 Backstroke (third, 1:53.33) and 200 Medley Relay (third, 1:33.23)
- Finished second in the Queens dual meet in the 100 Backstroke (50.44) and the 200 Backstroke (1:50.95)
- Won the same two events in the Catawba dual meet: 100 Backstroke (50.69) and 200 Backstroke (1:51.28)
- Helped the Bulldogs win the 400 Medley Relay at Emory (3:21.95)
- Five top-10 performances at the SCAD Savannah Invitational, including a victory in the 200 Backstroke (1:47.24)
- Other SCAD Savannah Invitational times: 200 Individual Medley (ninth, 1:55.80), 4x50 Freestyle Relay (third, 1:25.94), 100 Backstroke (second, 49.87) and 4x100 Medley Relay (fourth, 3:24.41)
