Biography
2009-10: In his second year with the team Richardson again provided a huge impact, earning All-American and All-Conference honors in multiple events again this year. He was apart of the 200 freestyle relay that took second at the NCAA Championships as well as being apart of the same relay that won the Blue Grass Mountain title. Look for Richardson to fill some large shoes that were left by four year All-American Mason Norman.
2008-09: In his first year as a Bulldog, Dwight Richardson had an immediate impact by becoming an All-American swimmer. Richardson swam sprint freestyle and backstroke for Wingate. He also had several All-Conference awards at the BGMC meet. Richardson’s top finishes throughout the season included a win against King College in the 50 Freestyle and a second place finish at the NCAA national meet as a part of the 200 Freestyle Relay team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Richardson is a transfer student from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. He swam for the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins while being home-schooled. Dwight Richardson is the son of David and Cussandra Richardson.
