Biography
2020-21 (JUNIOR)
- Academic All-America men’s at-large first team, as selected by CoSIDA
- First team All-American in three-of-three distance events at NCAAs in Alabama
- Finished third in the NCAA 1000 Freestyle with his personal-best time of 9:08.13
- Claimed fourth place in the 1650 Free (15:27.37) and seventh place in the 500 Free (4:27.40)
- Swam a 4:25.67 personal-best 500 Freestyle in the NCAA preliminaries
- Won the 1000 (9:08.73) and the 1650 Freestyle (15:25.99) at the BMC championships
- Finished sixth in two other BMC events: the 400 IM (3:58.27) and the 500 Free (4:29.60)
- Recorded a team-high eight personal-best times during his junior season
- Served as a team captain for the Bulldogs
- Received CSCAA Scholar All-American honors for his achievements in the classroom and the pool
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE)
- Earned All-American in two events at NCAAs in Ohio
- First team All-American in the 1000 and 1650 Freestyle races
- All-Bluegrass Mountain Conference in three events at the 2020 meet in Charlotte
- Collected silver medals in the 1000 (9:12.15) and the 1650 Freestyle (15:36.23) at the BMC championships
- Both the 1000 and 1650 BMC times were personal-bests
- Earned a bronze medal in the BMC 800 Freestyle Relay (6:40.50), swimming the anchor leg
- Qualified for the 500 Freestyle BMC championship final
- Swam a personal-best 500 Freestyle time of 4:28.92 in the BMC preliminaries
- Collected PRs in the 200 Freestyle (Spartan Invite), the 200 Breaststroke (vs. C-N) and the 400 IM (BMC)
- Received CSCAA Scholar All-American honors for his achievements in the classroom and the pool
- Received All-Conference honors in the 1000-yard freestyle (sixth, 9:26.69) and 1650-yard freestyle (15:46.05) at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship
- Also swam the 400-yard individual medley (seventh, 4:03.84)
- Earned an NCAA Division II National B time in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:26.69) and 1650-yard freestyle (15:46.05) at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship
- Earned CSCAA Scholar All-American honorable mention honors for his achievements in both the classroom and the pool
