Biography
Prior to Wingate: Marlan McElroy will swim the Freestyle events for the Bulldogs. At Northwest Rankin High, he was a member of the swimming team. His head coach was David Orr. McElroy was voted a team captain his senior year. He swam multiple personal-best times during his final high school season. McElroy posted a 22.09 in the 50 Freestyle, a 48.76 in the 100 Freestyle and a 1:46.98 in the 200 Freestyle. Marlan is the son of Marco and Ruby McElory.
