2017-18: Team captain for the Bulldogs…
2016-17: Tripp Wright won the 200 Freestyle consolation final at the 2017 Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship meet in Charlotte…Posted a time of 1:42.09 in the 200 Freestyle to take ninth place individually…Competed in the BMC 50 Freestyle (21.41) and the BMC 100 Freestyle (47.17) as well…Wright and his teammates finished second in the 2017 BMC championship meet…Served as the co-director for Wingate’s nationally-recognized Special Olympics Swimming venue in the spring…
2015-16: Wright had a solid Bluegrass Mountain Conference meet, recording personal-best times in the 50 Freestyle (21.59) and the 200 Freestyle (1:46.29) in the 18th annual event. He recorded a career-low 100 Freestyle time of 47.55 in the Wingate University Fall Frenzy Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C.
2014-15: Wright saw action for the Bulldogs in the Freestyle events, ranging from the 50 Free to the 1000 Free. He achieved personal best times in the 50 Free (22.08) and 200 Free (1:47.60) during the SCAD invitational. During the Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship meet, Wright placed 15th in the 1000 Free by posting a time of 10:21.57. Wright was one of the four men to receive honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-America team recognitions after the season.
