2010: Cay Manuel appeared in eight games during her freshman year at Wingate, collecting a hit, RBI and run scored. She was one-for-one with an RBI against St. Andrews. She drew a pair of walks and scored a run at St. Andrews.

Personal: Caitlin Manuel joins the Bulldog family following a distinguished career at Midlothian High School. As a senior, Caitlin Manuel hit a team-best .410 for the district champion Trojans and head coach Denise Manuel (her mom). Midlothian won the district title each season Caitlin Manuel played (2006-09). She was All-State, All-District, All-Region and All-Metro her junior and senior seasons. A two-year team captain, Manuel won the team’s Offensive Player of the Year Award and Leadership Award her senior season. Caitlin Manuel is the daughter of Patrick and Denise Manuel. Her mom played lacrosse at Longwood University. Caitlin is a Sport Management major.
