Courtney Barrineau was a two-time all-district selection, while serving as the team captain of the Piedmont High School softball team. Barrineau earned all-conference, all-county and all-state honors during her senior season, while earning team MVP honors. She was named the Enquirer Journal Player of the Year in 2010, while also earning the honor from UCHSSoftball.com. Barrineau was named the Piedmont High School Athlete of the year in 2010, and is the career homerun and RBI leader at Piedmont. She was also a member of the volleyball and basketball teams at Piedmont, earning all-conference and all-county and team MVP honors as a volleyball player. The daughter of Raymond and Karen Barrineau, Courtney’s sister Brittany is a junior on Wingate’s softball team.
