PRIOR TO WINGATE
Before suffering a season-ending knee injury her senior season, Sullivan showcased her talents on the court and on the track for the Lake Norman Wildcats. As a four-year varsity letter winner under head coach McKenzie Graham, she was tabbed as the team captain four straight years while earning team MVP, all-conference, all-tournament and all-county selections for three consecutive seasons. Averaging 19 points and six rebounds per game her junior season, Sullivan surpassed the 1,000-point mark to tally 1,370 heading into her senior year. On the track, she continued to impress as a two-time all-conference, all-county, all-region and state championship participant while breaking Lake Norman's triple jump record twice. Sullivan also played under head coach Ashley Rivens for Team Curry during the AAU season.
Sullivan starred in the classroom as well serving as a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the Academically and Intellectually Gifted program. With her 4.4 GPA, she ranked in the top 10 percent of her 450-student class.
