High School: Maria Cepeda played at Port Charlotte High School for head coaches Joanne and Jim Parker. She received an all-star honorable mention following a stellar senior season. In addition, Cepeda was Port Charlotte’s high scorer. Cepeda concluded her high school lacrosse career as her school’s all-time leading scorer. Her team won the district championship and advanced to the state play-offs following her final season. Cepeda played travel lacrosse for LaxManiax. She was born in Colombia and moved to the United States when she was five. Cepeda has lived in Florida for 17 years. She is an only child and loves every moment of it.
