Biography
2010: In her third year with the Bulldogs, Mastalerz made 19 appearances with eight starts. She recorded one assist on the season.
2009: As a sophomore, Mastalerz helped anchor the 2009 Bulldog back-line, starting 17 of her 18 matches. She tallied one goal and one assist for the year. Mastalerz was named to the NCCSIA college division All-State team, the Daktronics All-Southeast Region second team and the All-South Atlantic Conference first team.
2008: As a freshman, Mastalerz appeared in 20 games with 19 starts. She scored two goals and recorded one assist for the year.
Personal: Mastalerz played her club soccer for the Baltimore Bays. She has won U-14 and U-15 titles with the Columbia United and a U-20 crown with the Washington Freedom. At Howard High, she was a member of the Honor Roll. One of her teammates at Howard was classmate Tori Waldron. On the soccer pitch, she holds the Howard record for goals in a career with 45. A four-time All-County choice, she was a first team All-County selection as a senior. A two-time Howard team captain, she was voted the Most Valuable Forward by her teammates. Megan is the daughter of Tony and Jennifer Mastalerz.
