2015-16: Alex Tomlinson started 30 of 30 games as Wingate won the SAC tourney and earned a spot in the NCAA post-season…averaged 5.9 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game…led team in free throw percentage (83.7, 43-of-52)…hit 12-of-33 three-point field goals for 36.4 percent accuracy…scored double-digit points in six games…season-high 17 markers in SAC victory at Lenoir-Rhyne (Nov. 24)…season-best totals of 10 rebounds and six assists in home triumph over Fayetteville State (Dec. 30)…
 
2014-15: Tomlinson played in 31 games as a sophomore…averaged 3.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game…scored a season-high 13 points against Lenoir-Rhyne (Nov. 25)… recorded a season-best five assists against Tusculum twice (Nov. 22, Jan. 17)…had a season-high two steals against BYU Hawaii (Dec. 18), Anderson (Dec. 31) and Lander (Mar. 13)…season-high two blocks against Lincoln Memorial (Jan.10)…

2013-14: Tomlinson appeared in 21 games as a freshman…averaged 1.9 points per game and 1.0 rebounds per game…season-high nine points in huge road victory at Catawba (Jan. 22)…hit three-of-four field goals and three-of-three free throws in Catawba contest…scored four points each in back-to-back road wins over Anderson and Mars Hill…added nine assists and six steals to her season statistics ledger…

Prior to Wingate: Tomlinson played her scholastic basketball for head coach Chris East at Millbrook High School...A starter throughout her career, Tomlinson helped Millbrook win the 4A state title her junior and senior seasons...Tomlinson was a four-year all-conference and academic all-conference selection in the competitive Cap 8 league...She was a multiple year all-district choice as well...
 
During her career, Tomlinson has helped Millbrook win four Cap 8 regular season championships and four tournament titles...The Wildcats posted identical 31-2 overall records her sophomore and junior seasons, while going 33-0 during her senior year...Millbrook posted a 114-14 record during her four-year career...
 
Tomlinson was voted Millbrook’s best offensive player as sophomore...She was a three-time all-tournament selection at the NCSHAA 4A East Regionals...In addition, she was named to the 2011 Triangle Tip-Off Classic all-tournament team and the 2013 News and Observer all metro, WRAL-TV Tom Suiter Extra Effort Award...The Raleigh Sports Club voted Tomlinson Student-Athlete of the Week on March 14, 2012...
