Wingate University Athletics

2014-15: Andrea Bertrand graduated from Concord (W.Va.) University in the spring of 2014 with an accounting degree. She joins the Bulldog family with one year of eligibility remaining after playing three seasons for the CU Mountain Lions.
 
2013-14: Bertrand was named first team All-Mountain East Conference as a Concord senior. She averaged 18.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 50.3 percent (183-for-364) from the field. On the MEC charts, Bertrand ranked third in scoring, fourth in rebounding and fourth in field goal percentage. She recorded a team-best seven double-doubles on the season. Bertrand scored 20 or more points in a game 10 times as senior with a career-high 32 points versus Glenville State. She had at least 10 rebounds in a game eight times with a career-best 14 boards at Glenville State. Bertrand joined the Concord 1,000 point and 500 rebound club as a senior.
 
2012-13: Bertrand played and started in only four games as she missed the season due to injury. In her limited action, she averaged 18 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Bertrand scored a career-high 30 points (and pulled down 11 rebounds) versus Charleston. She posted another double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds) at Ohio Valley.
 
2011-12: Bertrand received second team All-WVIAC laurels after her sophomore season for the CU Mountain Lions. She was the only Concord student-athlete to start 28 of 28 games. Her statistics line included 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Bertrand had six double-doubles with 21 double-digit scoring games. She had a season-high 28 points at Seton Hill. Bertrand pulled down 12 rebounds on two occasions.
 
2010-11: Bertrand averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 29 games as a Concord freshman. Her season-high scoring effort of 11 points was achieved three times. Bertrand scored in double figures on five occasions.
 
High School: Bertrand was a four-year basketball letter winner at Cosby High, where she helped Cosby win district and regional titles during a distinguished career. Andrea Bertrand is the daughter of Ingrid and Andy Bertrand.
