Wingate University Athletics

Prior to Wingate: Chanel Pauldo averaged 17.7 points per game and 11 rebounds per game her senior season for head coach (and Wingate basketball alum) Crystal Adams Trull at Anson County. The Bearcats won the conference tournament title her final season as Pauldo led the team in scoring, rebounding, blocks and assists. She was named all-conference and team MVP.
 
As a junior, Pauldo averaged 10.8 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game, 2.8 assists per game and 1.3 steals per game. During her time at AHS, Pauldo was named the 2013 Farm Bureau Insurance Classic MVP. In addition, she earned a spot on the 2013 Battle of the Border all-tournament team. Pauldo was a two-year team captain for the Bearcats.
 
Off the court, Pauldo won the Bearcat Award. She is a national scholar-athlete award recipient and a member of the AHS National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. Pauldo served as a Junior Marshal at Anson’s 2014 graduation ceremony. Pauldo is the daughter of Jerry Pauldo.
