2013: Jade Montgomery was named the SAC Player of the Year and SAC Female Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year as a junior at Wingate...Earned second team All-American honors from Daktronics and third team All-American accolades from the NSCAA...Second student-athlete in SAC history to earn SAC Female Athlete of the Year honors in back-to-back years...Was named SAC Tournament MVP...First player in program history to earn All-American honors multiple times...Finished her junior year with a league-best 17 goals, 11 assists and 45 points...Ranked in the top 10 nationally in all three categories, finishing fifth in points, sixth in assists and 10th in goals...Was one of only two players in the nation to rank in the top 10 nationally in all three categories...Registered at least one point in 16 of Wingate's 23 matches in 2013...Had five multi-goal games on the year...Started her season with a goal and an assist against Clayton State, while posting two goals and an assist in the win at Mount Olive...Followed with two goals in the 4-1 win at Carson-Newman...Scored the overtime game-winner at UNC Pembroke, adding an assist in regulation...Scored twice in the win at Coker, while notching a goal and an assist against Brevard..Had two goals and an assist in the 3-0 win against Anderson, while notching a goal and an assist against Tusculum in the SAC tournament semifinals...Scored both goals in SAC tournament championship match, including game-winner in the final minute of regulation...Had an assist in the regional semifinal match against Columbus State...Scored a goal in the Elite Eight match against defending national champion West Florida.

2011: Earned All-SAC and All-Region honors as freshman...Led the Bulldogs with 13 goals and 28 points...Finished second in the SAC in goals and third in points...First collegiate goal was the game winner against Georgia College...Had a goal and an assist against St. Andrews, while netting two goals the following match against Newberry, scoring the game-winner in both games...Netted a pair of goals against Lenoir-Rhyne...Registered her first career hat trick in the SAC Tournament quarterfinals against Catawba, leading Wingate to a 4-1 win...Scored two goals in the SAC Tournament semifinals and a goal in the championship match, earning All-Tournament honors.

Personal: Montgomery played her club soccer at the Mecklenburg Union Futbol Club for Wingate graduate Junior Nyemb. At Piedmont High School, Montgomery was a team captain, helping them earn a Rocky River Conference title. Montgomery has also excelled as a guard on the basketball team and as a kicker on the football team at Piedmont. She has the unique record of earning conference Player of the Year honors in both soccer and basketball.
