Serving as the Rams three-year team captain and MVP, Scott and head coach Chris Danehower led Cleveland High School to two regular season championships in addition to two conference tournament titles in the AAA Greater Neuse River conference. Scott also showcased her talents on the Track and Field team while setting the school record in discus and earning Eastern Region champion honors three consecutive years. During her last year at Clayton High School under head coach Marlon Lee, Scott earned all-conference honors. She also played with the Carolina Lynx under head coach Larry Richardson for AAU travel ball.
