2015-16: Rebekah Hairston saw time in 11 games during her first year in the Navy Blue and Vegas Gold…recorded two points in a wild 106-103 double overtime win at Mars Hill (Dec. 5)…grabbed one rebound each in three games…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…
 
Prior to Wingate: Hairston joined the Bulldog family as a transfer from Columbia International University. In 2014-15, she was CIU’s leading scorer with 13 points per game. Hairston earned the team’s Offensive Player of the Year Award. She was named to the all-tournament team at Southern Wesleyan’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes tournament.
 
At Northside High, Hairston lettered four years in basketball for head coach Dan Smith. She averaged 17 points per game for her high school career. A two-year team captain, Hairston was all-conference and all-conference tournament two years each. She was team MVP as a senior and most improved as a sophomore. Northside won the conference championship each of her four years. Hairston was a three-year letter winner in volleyball for head coach David Bates. Hairston is the daughter of Michael and Windy Hairston.
