In addition, she compiled a perfect 4.000 GPA during her Leland academic career. Johnson was a three-year captain for the Chargers’ cross country and track teams. Her XC honors include All-State honors as a junior. Johnson was a four-time all-county cross country runner while receiving Leland’s XC team MVP award four times as well. In soccer, she was all-conference three times and Leland’s MVP as a sophomore. In track, Johnson was named three times to the all-county team. For good measure, she added a swimming all-county award to her trophy case. Alyssa is the daughter of Todd and Kelly Johnson. She has cousins who have dived at Stanford, played softball at Whittier (Calif.) and played baseball at Oregon State.
