2013: Posted a 20:58 5K time in SAC championship meet, finishing 28th as Wingate won the team title…In the previous meet, recorded a 19:36 at the Royal XC Challenge…Finished 14th at the Bulldog Stampede (21:09) and 15th at the Montreat Invitational (21:09)…
 
2012: Recorded a 22:19 5K time at Marietta College event, placing 11th on individual leader board…Ran a 20:58 5K at Winthrop and a 21:37 at the SAC championships…6K times include a 25:28 at regionals and a 26:11 at the pre-regional event…

2011: Ran in every meet during her freshman campaign; only 44 seconds separated her fastest 5K time from her slowest 5K time…Posted a season-best 21:24 5K at the Winthrop Invitational…Claimed 11th place at the Bulldog Stampede (21:44) and eighth place at the Pre-SAC Invitational (21:51)…Ran a 25:22 6K race at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional meet in Charlotte…

Personal: A WU Dean’s List student, Hoffman is also listed on the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. She has served as the cross country team’s representative on the Wingate Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

High School: Austin Hoffman joined the Bulldog family after an illustrious career at East Burke High School. In her only cross country season at EBHS, Hoffman led the Cavaliers to the conference championship. She was team captain, co-MVP and all-conference.  She was a five-sport letter winner at East Burke (Indoor and outdoor track, soccer, tennis and cross country).  She was MVP and all-conference in tennis and outdoor track as a senior. In addition, she earned indoor track MVP laurels two times. An active volunteer, Hoffman posted a 4.6250 weighted GPA at East Burke. She was a four-year band member and the Wendy’s High School Heisman winner for her school. Austin is the daughter of Tom and Angela Hoffman.
