Biography
2010: Nichols ran in two meets for the Bulldogs during her junior year. Her fastest 5K time came in the WU Pre-SAC Invitational, as she finished in 24:32.
2009: Nichols ran a season-best 5K time of 24:12 at the Pre-SAC Invitational on October 15th. Nichols competed in all eight races for the Bulldogs as a sophomore.
2008: Danielle Nichols ran a season-best time of 23:31 during the Eye Opener 5K as a freshman in 2008. The Henryville, Penn. resident competed in seven races for the Bulldogs during her rookie season.
High School: Nichols earned many athletic and academic honors at Pocono Mountain East High School. She was a member of both the cross country team and the track team. A captain in both sports, Nichols won the Cardinal Award for her contributions to the Pocono Mountain East athletic program. The president of the National Honor Society at her high school, Danielle Nichols is the daughter of Stephen and Patricia Nichols.
