2016: Ran a career-best 18:44.7 5K at the South Atlantic Conference championship meet, finishing eighth and earning All-SAC laurels…In Wingate’s previous race, posted a 5K time of 18:51.5 in the Royals XC Challenge (her previous career-best)…Participated in both the Southeast Regional and NCAA national championship races, posting 6K times of 22:36.9 and 23:36.6, respectively…Finished 27th in the Southeast Regional at Montevallo (Ala.)…Wingate has won two SAC women’s cross country titles and made three NCAA XC national meet appearance in her career…SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…

2015: Saved her best 6K time for the biggest stage, posting a 23:28 clocking at the NCAA national championship meet…Race was her first appearance at nationals…Ran a 19:32 5K at Disney for her best time at this distance…Received second team All-South Atlantic Conference laurels, thanks to a 14th place finish at the league championship meet (19:36 5K)…Named to SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll during spring of 2016…

2014: Recorded a 31:54 6K in her first collegiate meet in the Furman event, taking 142nd place…Claimed 128th place in the Charlotte Invitational with a 6K time of 31:41…

Previous: Juliet Salgueiro was a member of the cross country and tennis teams at St. Vincent’s Academy, where her XC coach was Brooke Blanton. She helped both teams claim regional titles during her career. Salgueiro was a four-time MVP in both cross country and tennis, while serving as a team captain three years each. She was the number one singles player for the St. Vincent’s Academy tennis team. Juliet is the daughter of Alex and Fonda Salgueiro.
