2023-24 (GRAD YEAR 1)

  • Earned first team All-SAC accolades
  • Posted a 75.69 stroke average
  • Posted three top-five finishes, picking up a pair of victories
  • Won the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, carding rounds of 72, 70 and 73
  • Picked up her fifth career victory at the home event, the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate
  • Posted rounds of 71, 72 and 71 for the victory, the second-best 54-hole total in program history 
  • Added a fifth-place showing at the Battle at Hilton Head with rounds of 74 and 76
  • Added an 18th-place showing at the loaded field at the NCAA D2 Preview, shooting 75 and 72 

2022-23 (SENIOR)

  • Set the single-season Wingate scoring record (74.03)
  • Qualified for the national championships and posted the first NCAA Division II top 10 national finish in WU golf history 
  • WGCA second team All-American earned first team All-SAC accolades
  • Played in 12 events on the season, with nine top-10 finishes
  • Won the LeeAnn Noble Memorial with rounds of 68, 74 and 71, with the 68 tying the school record for lowest round  
  • Her three-day total of 213 at the LeeAnn Noble is a 54-hole WU scoring record by three shots
  • She is the only player in program history to finish a 54-hole tournament under par
  • Was the runner-up at the NCAA Regionals to punch her ticket to nationals, shooting 76, 70 and 73
  • Also notched a runner-up finish at the Battle at Hilton Head, carding rounds of 73, 76 and 69
  • Finished third at the Flagler Fall Slam (75, 71) and fourth at the Spring Kickoff (78, 69)
  • Posted a fifth-place finish at the SAC Tournament with rounds of 74, 73 and 73 
  • Shot 73, 74 and 70 at the national championships for her historic sixth-place finish

2021-22 (JUNIOR)

  • Qualified for the NCAA postseason for the second straight season
  • Earned All-SAC honors while leading Bulldogs with her 75.24 average score
  • Tied for fifth at the 2022 SAC championships April 3-5
  • Completed the SAC championship event with a 77-74-74=225 scorecard
  • Won the Battle at Hilton Head Feb. 21-22 with a 70-74=144 ledger
  • Finished second at the weather-shortened Battle for Royalty Sept. 20-21 with a 75
  • Placed fourth in the Surratt Memorial March 14-15 with a 78-72-73=223 effort
  • McLaughlin and her teammates had eight top-five showings in nine tourneys

2020-21 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Division II All-American second team, as named by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association
  • Missed a national championships berth by one stroke
  • Finished tied for ninth in the D2 South Regional with her 73-75-76=224 scorecard
  • Earned medalist honors in the 2021 SAC tournament with two personal-best marks
  • Posted a third-round 70 and a three-round 217, both collegiate-bests
  • Tied for second-place in the Low Tide Intercollegiate with her 73-72-77=222 showing
  • Completed the 2021 regular season with a tie for third at Lander (71-72=143)
  • Bulldogs finished first, fourth, second, fifth and tied for second in five 2021 events

2019-20 (FRESHMAN)

  • Division II All-American second team, as named by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association
  • Tied for ninth place in first collegiate tourney (SAC Preview) as the Bulldogs won the Lincoln Memorial-hosted event
  • Shot 75-74=149 in the SAC Preview as WU placed four golfers in the top nine and ties
  • Carded a first round, collegiate-best 71 in her next event (the Battle at Old South)
  • Finished tied for sixth place in the Battle at Old South (71-75=146)
  • Opened the spring portion of Wingate’s season by tying for second place at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate (SKI)
  • Posted scores of 74-76-150 in the SKI (tying for second place) as the ’Dogs brought home the team title
  • Led WU with her 54-hole score of 219 (74-73-72) in the team’s final spring event, the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational
  • Tied for 13th place at the Rollins-hosted Peggy Kirk Bell Invite
  • Topped the Bulldog charts with her 74.50 strokes per round average
  • Six strokes separated her best round (71) from her worst round (77) this season
  • Finished in the top 25 in seven-of-seven events

  • Favorite TV show is Criminal Minds normally, but right now Smiling Friends 
  • Favorite Musical Artist is Beartooth and Luke Combs (very different I know)

  • A place I'd love to travel to is Philippines 
  • Most memorable sports moment is either my hole-in-one or my Nationals showing
  • Favorite sport to play other than golf is I don't really play any other sports, but I like to swim and I Line Dance

  • My biggest fear is losing the people closest to me 
  • Something people don’t know about me is I love listening to conspiracy theory, unsolved and true crime podcasts.
