High School: Anicia Ocasio played lacrosse for head coach Melissa Ladez at Independence High School. She was all-conference on defense her final two seasons. A team captain as a senior, Ocasio won the Patriots’ Most Improved Player Award as a sophomore. On campus, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Independence D.R.E.A.M. team.
