High School: Erin Brooks played lacrosse at Millbrook High School in Raleigh. She lettered four times and played defense for head coach Matthew Cope. Brooks won the defensive MVP Award her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. A team captain as a senior, Brooks won the Millbrook Female Athlete of the Year award the same year. On the lacrosse field, she received first team all-conference honors following her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Brooks also played showcase lacrosse for the Carolina Flight.
 
Academic Achievements: Brooks was on the A/B honor roll for four years. She maintained a 4.25 GPA throughout high school, earning membership in the National Honor Society.
