Before suffering an injury her senior season, Makenzie Crump showcased her talents on the soccer field, volleyball and basketball courts for East Burke...Despite being sidelined for the season, she served as the team captain for her East Burke basketball squad her senior year for head coach Crystal Bartlett...In her last full high school season, Crump averaged 6.3 points and 3.5 rebounds on the floor for the Cavaliers...Also played for the East Elite AAU team and head coach Michael Arney...Off the hardwood, she excelled in the classroom with a 3.6 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society and N.C. Honor Scholars...Makenzie is the daughter of Scott and Jennifer Crump. She has one sister and one brother.
