2018: Peyton McCracken appeared in 14 games during her sophomore season, making 11 starts...A key member of a Wingate defense that ranked fourth in the SAC in goals-against average, McCracken registered 10 ground balls and forced three turnovers on the season.
2017: McCracken
participated in five games as a freshman (Mount Olive, Pfeiffer, Charleston, Newberry and Queens)…helped Wingate advance to its first-ever South Atlantic Conference tournament championship game…
Prior to Wingate: Peyton McCracken is one of two newcomers to the WU women’s lacrosse team from Maryland. She played two years on the varsity team at Middletown High School, helping lead her team to a 10-3 overall record during her senior year. McCracken also played field hockey, while playing club lacrosse with the Frederick Stars Lacrosse and Rebels. Peyton is the daughter of
Darla and
Michael Croce and
Robert McCracken. She is the sister of
Colton,
Mason,
Michael and
Megan.
