2018: Taylor Barker saw action in 17 games in her sophomore campaign, making 15 starts…Registered 10 ground balls and two caused turnovers on the season...Picked up four ground balls in the SCAD Savannah game…Collected a ground ball and caused a turnover in the game against Lincoln Memorial. 

2017: Barker saw action in seven contests as a freshman, starting one game at Tusculum…posted one ground ball in the victory at Tusculum…recorded two draw control victories with one each in wins over Pfeiffer and Newberry…saw time against Pfeiffer, Charleston, Chowan, Newberry, Tusculum, Coker (SAC tourney) and Queens (SAC championship game)…South Atlantic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll student…

Prior to Wingate: Taylor Barker is the first international student-athlete to sign with the Wingate women’s lacrosse team. She was a member of the New Zealand U-19 National World Cup Team which competed in the 2015 FIL World Cup in Scotland. Her team finished fifth in the world. Barker is currently on the 2017 New Zealand Women’s World Cup Team and hopes to be playing in the 2017 World Cup in England.
 
Barker played three years on varsity at Whangaparaoa College and earned the title of captain in her junior and senior years. She was also named Senior Lacrosse Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and earned the Overall Sporting Excellence Trophy in 2015. While in high school, she also played varsity field hockey and netball.
 
Taylor is the daughter of Tony and Paula Barker and the sister of Brooke Barker. Athleticism runs through her family. Her mother played netball for the Shore Rovers Netball Club and her sister is currently a captain for her high school lacrosse team and has played on the New Zealand U-15 and U-23 teams.
