Biography
2012: Brandi Baldwin appeared in only three games during her junior season before missing the rest of the year due to injury. She started all three contests for the Bulldogs, helping Wingate go 2-1 and outscore opponents 11-4.
2011: Baldwin started seven contests for the Bulldogs as a sophomore, before missing the rest of the season due to injury. She played a key role in Wingate’s dominant defense, which held opponents to 1.06 goals per contest and registered nine shutouts. Baldwin also registered a key assist in Wingate’s 2-1 victory over Georgia College.
2010: In her first year as a Bulldog, Baldwin made 18 appearances with six starts. She had five assists on the season, the second highest assist total on the Bulldog charts. Baldwin was named to the 2011 SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Personal: Baldwin played her high school soccer for head coach Steve Hancock at Sun Valley. A four-time team MVP, Baldwin completed her career by participating in the N.C. East-West All-Star game. She was All-State as a junior, earning Southern Carolina Conference Player of the Year laurels. Baldwin was All-Region two years and All-Conference four years. She led the Spartans in assists three years and goals three years. In the classroom, Baldwin was ranked number two in her graduating class. She was a member of the National Association for High School Scholars. Brandi is the daughter of Matthew Baldwin and Anita Barr. Her sister (Samantha Baldwin) was her Wingate teammate in 2010.
