Biography
Jordan Mayer started 19 matches for the Bulldogs in 2008. The Williamsburg, Virginia native scored three goals and notched five assists for Wingate during her junior season. Mayer led the Bulldogs with five goals in 2007. She added two assists and two match-winning goals to her ledger. Mayer had two goals (including the match-winner) in Wingate’s 2-1 SAC road win at Lenoir-Rhyne (Oct. 9, 2007). Mayer started 16 matches for the Bulldogs at outside midfielder in 2006. She scored three goals and had two assists for a total of eight points.
Mayer was named first team All-District and second team All-Region at Lafayette High School. A four-year letterwinner, Mayer and her teammates won the district title and placed second in the region. A team captain her final season, she led the team in goals and assists her senior year. A Biology major, Mayer is a member of the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Jordan is the daughter of Roger and Rose Mayer.
