2015: Macy Franklin was once again the defensive anchor on the league’s stingiest defense…Earned first team All-SAC and All-Region honors…Started all 19 games she appeared in…Wingate allowed a league-low 0.57 goals per game, piling up 12 shutouts while allowing only three goals in 11 SAC matches…Also had a goal and an assist on the year…Scored in the 2-1 victory at Mount Olive…Notched an assist in the 2-0 victory against Catawba.

2014: Franklin earned All-SAC and All-Region honors during her second season at Wingate…Was a team captain as a sophomore…Anchored the league’s best defense…The Bulldogs allowed only 12 goals all season, giving up just three goals in 11 conference matches…Wingate piled up 13 shutouts on the season…The ‘Dogs went over 1,000 minutes midway through the season without allowing a goal…Franklin started all 20 matches during her sophomore season…Had an assist in Wingate’s 1-0 victory against Armstrong State in NCAA Tournament.

2013: Franklin earned second team All-SAC honors in her first year at Wingate...Named to the All-Tournament team at the SAC Tournament...One of only four players to start all 23 games in 2013...Scored a goal in Wingate's 2-0 win at Mars Hill...Played a key role in a Wingate defense that led the SAC with a 0.71 goals against average...Limited opponents to under 10 shots per game...Helped Bulldogs pile up 13 shutouts in 23 games.

Personal: Franklin was the team captain and team MVP at St. Stephens High School. She was a three-time All-Conference and All-Region selection, while earning All-State honors in 2012. Franklin led the team in goals all four years at St. Stephens, scoring 38 goals during her junior season. St. Stephens won three conference titles. Franklin was an honor roll student at St. Stephens.
