Why Oakley chose Wingate:
"The girls on the volleyball team created an amazing family atmosphere and were very self-motivated to give their teammates what they need to be successful and Coach Collier is very intelligent when it comes to volleyball and really cares for his players. The class sizes were not too small and not too big so that you can really have a good relationship with all of your professors. Everyone knows everyone on campus which makes it a very fun living atmosphere."

Coach Collier:
"After a January shoulder surgery Oakley has worked really hard with her rehab and will be ready to assume her role as a starter as left-side hitter this year. She is always one of our most consistent and reliable players in every aspect of her game."
