2015: Cecka appeared in 21 matches, making five starts before the Bulldogs before a season-ending injury…Had 0.97 kills per set on the year, adding 17 digs and nine blocks…Hit .600 with six kills in one set against Limestone…Had two kills, two digs and a block in one set against Coker…Collected six kills, a dig and a block at Tusculum, followed by a six-kill, five-dig effort at Mars Hill.
2014: Cecka appeared in only three matches during her sophomore season before suffering a season-ending knee injury…Received a medical redshirt and will be a redshirt sophomore in the 2015 season.
2013: Cecka played in 22 matches during her freshman season at Wingate, starting 2 contests...Had 32 kills on the year, hitting .235 while adding 19 digs, 12 blocks and four aces...Hit .333 with four kills and five digs against Lees-McRae...Had three kills, four digs and five blocks in SAC sweep at Coker...Hit .429 with three kills in two sets against Brevard...Hit .375 with three kills, six digs and two blocks at Brevard...Had two kills in two swings against Belmont Abbey in the NCAA Tournament.

Cecka was a star middle hitter for Plymouth High School, receiving honorable mention all-state honors twice. She played club volleyball for Fon du Lac Fusion and Milwaukee Sting. As a standout on the track team, Cecka has the school record in the high jump (5'7") and the discuss (130'10"), participating in the state track meet as a junior and as a senior. She was the team captain on the volleyball and basketball teams, earning All-Area, All-Conference and All-Region honors in both sports. Cecka earned team MVP honors on the volleyball, basketball and track teams. She was an Academic All-Conference member and was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Why Rachael chose Wingate: I wanted a school that held athletics and academics to a high standard. The culture and comradery Wingate Volleyball had already establish was a program I wanted to be a part of and grow to fit that mold. Wingate has given me opportunity on top of opportunity.
